How AI tokens are counted

AI tokens are the fuel for every AI feature in the app — the AI writer, AI assistant, AI summary, AI image generator, and more. You are only charged for what the AI actually produces:

• Text generation is charged by the length of the AI's output (the generated content), not by what you type in.
• Each generated image costs a flat 10,000 tokens.
• Your plan tokens are always used first; one-time pack tokens are used only after the plan tokens run out.

Your live token balance is shown in the app while you work, so you always know how much you have left.

7-Day Free Trial

Pro and Advanced plans come with a 7-day free trial so you can explore all premium features before committing.

How it works:

1. Choose Pro or Advanced plan from the Pricing page.
2. Your trial starts immediately — you get full access to all features and AI tokens included in the plan.
3. You will not be charged during the 7-day trial period.
4. After 7 days, your subscription automatically begins and billing starts.
5. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged anything.

Things to know:

• The free trial is available only on your first subscription to Pro or Advanced. If you've subscribed before, the trial won't apply again.
• You can cancel anytime during the trial from your Shopify admin — no questions asked.

One-Time Token Packs

How one-time tokens work:

• One-time tokens never expire — use them at your own pace.
• They stack on top of your subscription tokens.
• Your subscription tokens are always used first. One-time tokens only kick in after your monthly tokens run out.
• One-time tokens are kept even if you downgrade or cancel your subscription.
• You can purchase multiple packs — tokens accumulate.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time.

Is it easy to switch between plans?

Yes, it is really easy to switch plans. To switch between plans, go to the subscription page and select your desired plan. You will then be directed to your Shopify admin to approve the subscription.

Can I have a refund?

Yes, you can. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, which is applicable in the following circumstances:

• You do not wish to continue the subscription after the first month.
• You cancel the paid plan before the first billing cycle ends.
• You forget to cancel the trial period, or you accidentally choose a paid plan without using it during the first month.

What are AI tokens?

AI tokens are the currency used for AI-powered features on our platform. Instead of counting each action, tokens measure the actual amount of AI output you use, so you get charged fairly for what you generate. There are two kinds of AI tokens:

• Subscription tokens are included in your plan, renew every billing cycle, expire at the cycle's end, and are always used first.
• Add-on tokens can be purchased separately, never expire, and are used only after your subscription tokens run out.

I used to have AI credits. What happened to them?

We've upgraded from AI credits to AI tokens so billing reflects your real AI usage. Any credits left in your balance are converted to tokens automatically at a rate of 1 credit = 5,000 tokens. The converted tokens are added to your add-on balance, so they never expire and stay with you even if you change plans.

What can I do if I run out of tokens?

If you run out of tokens, you can purchase an add-on token pack at any time, or upgrade your subscription plan to a higher tier with a larger monthly token allowance. Once the payment is processed, the new tokens are added instantly, so you can resume using AI features without interruption.

Do unused AI tokens roll over to the next month?

Unused subscription tokens do not roll over; they expire at the end of each billing cycle. Add-on tokens do roll over because they never expire and remain in your balance until used.

What happens to my advanced elements if I switch to the Free plan?

All advanced elements already published on your blog posts will remain visible, but they become read-only - you'll no longer be able to edit or add new ones.

What happens to my tokens if I switch from a paid plan to the free plan?

When you downgrade to the free plan, any remaining subscription tokens expire along with the paid plan, but any add-on tokens you purchased never expire and remain available in your balance.
