Orders management
Every order synced from Shopify appears under App > Orders. From the order page you can correct the information printed on the document, then print or download it without opening the Shopify admin.
Overview
The orders list shows payment status, fulfilment status, delivery method, tags and print status for each order. Click an order to open its detail page. There you can edit the products, prices, shipping, taxes, customer, addresses, notes and tags, print the PDF with the template and language you choose, or download it.
How to use
Step 1: Open the order
Go to App > Orders and click the order number. Use the tabs (Not printed, Printed, Unpaid, Unfulfilled…) or the search box to find it faster.
Step 2: Edit order information
Click Edit on the order detail page to change quantities, prices, discounts, shipping fees and taxes on the invoice. The customer, addresses, notes and tags are edited on the order page itself, from the … menu on the Customer card and the pencil icon on the Notes and Tags cards.
From then on the invoice, packing slip, refund and quote for that order print with your changes. Nothing is written back to the Shopify order. The Edit screen and customer and address editing need the Ultimate plan. Notes and tags work on every plan.
See Edit order for the full walkthrough, the required address fields and how to undo your edits.
Step 3: Print the document
Click Print on the order detail page. Choose the template and the document language, then confirm. The PDF opens in a new tab, ready for your printer.
If you print many orders a day, see Print PDF documents for the shortcut icon on the orders list and for printing up to 30 orders in one action.
Step 4: Download the file
Click Download on the order detail page. The PDF is saved to your computer with the default template, with no dialog. The button stays disabled while the file is being prepared.
Download suits archiving or attaching the file to your own email. Pick Print when you want to choose the template or language first.
Tips
- Edit the order information before printing. Documents already printed or emailed keep the old details, so reprint after saving.
- Notes and tags entered here are shown on the document only if the template has those fields enabled. See Create & customize templates.
- The Print status column on the orders list tells you which orders were already printed and how many times, which helps you catch duplicates before a fulfilment run.
